Dear students

On behalf of the Rectorate of the IU International University, we would like to inform you that the examinations will take place on campus in the summer semester 2022 in compliance with the Hygiene Concept of the IU. This applies to all written exams: re-sits in May, mid-terms in June and final examinations in August and is in line with the organization of the lectures on campus. Online examinations will not be offered in the summer semester 2022.

Attendance regulations

Our teaching approach is based on the idea that regular course attendance is necessary to successfully complete a course. For the following courses you need to fulfil the minimum attendance requirement (80% of the scheduled course hours):

• Courses with the examination form CE (continuous examination)
  • Language courses

Re-sit regulations

• Illness during examinations (all examination formats: CE tests, presentations, project work, etc., re-sits, midterm and final examinations) and inability to sit examinations must be documented with a doctor's note. Please note that in case of illness your doctor's note must be submitted to the Examination Office via Request Management in CARE within 3 working days of the start of your examination date: https://care-sbm.iubh.de/en/requests-forms-docs/application-management.php
• Repetition of CEs must be registered with the Examination Office via CARE: https://care-sbm.iubh.de/en/requests-forms-docs/application-management.php
